Accreditation Programme For The Harrison Assessments Talent Solutions System (HATS)

Day 1: System Training

The focus on day one is how to administer the HATS system, with attention on recruitment and developing staff performance. Participants will learn the following:

  • The validation and theory behind HATS
  • How to administer the HATS system including the questionnaire and run reports
  • How to run a recruitment campaign using the automated recruitment module
  • How to build job templates for any position, industry, or work situation
  • How to identify strengths, weaknesses and stress behaviours from 156 behaviours in each individual
  • Applications for all of the HATS reports (full interpretation included with each report)

Day 2: Advanced Interpretation Training

The focus on day two is how to access more information and insight into the factors influencing an individual's behaviour, with attention on individual coaching and counselling, team performance, and organisational applications. Participants will learn the following:

  • How HATS is used in team building, succession planning, potential and leadership development, 360’s, and career coaching
  • Advanced interpretation skills for performance and potential coaching and counselling
  • How to deliver one-on-one feedback and group feedback based on the HATS results
  • Internal and external value-add opportunities using HATS

Participants receive an extensive User Manual plus a full personal set of recruitment and development reports.

All participants receive an authorised Harrison Assessments System Certificate upon completion of training and are required to complete an open-book assessment within two weeks of completing day 2 training. On passing the assessment participants will receive an authorised Harrison Assessments Advanced level Certificate.

Advanced Certification is a prerequisite for becoming a HATS distributor and to apply for Expert level Certification.

In-House Accreditation

Our company clients often prefer to train in-house to accredit all HR personnel in the HATS system. In-house training allows greater flexibility to customise the training and HATS applications specifically to your company’s needs.

All HR personnel will become proficient at setting up and running recruitment campaigns to assess and predict candidate performance.  They will also be able to profile current staff to assist managers in developing and coaching staff. The extensive applications of HATS reports enhances the value-add that HR can provide across all departments and levels of the organistation.

Modified programs can also be run for line-managers to assist them in understanding and working with the HATS reports provided by HR. Line-managers benefit from understanding how to assess and predict performance using an objective and systematic process, which supports the legal and transparent selection practices established by HR.

Remote Accreditation

CareerFit understands that regional customers and busy consultants may have difficulty attending a one day program in a distant location. Where possible we do deliver accreditation training using online technology while still maintaining the intergrity and outcomes of the accreditation programme.
